Jerilynn has twelve years of experience working with adults and children, ages 5-65. She holds a Masters degree in Art Therapy and specialty education in Sandtray Play Therapy. Jerilynn works with healing grief/loss, trauma originating in childhood, PTSD, recovery from physical illnesses, anxiety, depression, women’s empowerment, adjustment to change, and spiritual growth.

  • Lynn Horton, LCSW has nine years experience as a clinician working with children, teens, and adults in school settings and for Children's Mental Health. Lynn has a great deal of experience performing comprehensive diagnostic assessments, as well, and serves also as an Intake Specialist for Riverside.

  • Amy Houser, MCOUN, LPC enjoys working with individuals, couples, and families of all ages. She has expereince working with depression, anxiety, anger, stress, and relationships. Amy employs a variety of techniques that allow her to tailor each session to the individual needs of her clients.


  • Joyce Hickerson, MS, RNCS Joyce has over twenty years experience as a counselor. Her experiences include working with abuse, physical and sexual abuse, domestic violence, play therapy, Sandtray and art techniques through expressive work, communication, relationships, anger management, work with anxiety, depression, and mood disorders.
  • Debi Scholten, LPC, LSW Debi has twenty-five years experience working with children, teens, and adults. She utilizes a strengths-based approach to deal with issues related to relationships, childhood abuse, behavior problems, substance abuse, anxiety, depression, and mood disorders.

  • Terrie Towle, M. Ed, RN, LCPC Terrie brings seventeen years of experience as a full time comunity mental health counselor working with children, teens, adults, couples and families. Her knowledge and experience involves cognitive behavioral therapy, play and art therapy as well as relaxation and stress management. her focus has also included parenting issues, life adjustments and recovery from trauma.

  • Beth Guryan, MS, CCC-SLP, LPC Beth has certifications to practice as a speech-language pathologist and as a mental health counselor. Beth helps individuals, couples and families adjust to loss associated with chronic illness, autism, learning disabilities and caregiver fatigue. Other areas of specialization include treatment of anxiety, depression and relationship issues. She works with a support group for parents of children with autism and provides individual counseling for parents of children with autism, Down Syndrome and brain injury.

  • Jarilyn Throne, LCPC has over eight years experience working with at-risk youth and victims of domestic violence, sexual abuse, rape, and dual diagnoses. She also brings her experience with art and play therapies to Riverside Rehab.
