Debi Scholton, MS, LSW, LPC has worked with children of all ages over the past 25 years through the education system. Choosing to work with children aged ten and up, she states that she likes working with teenagers in particular. Involving parents in the therapeutic process has proven to be a useful tactic for Debi. Other specialties include dealing with issues such as drug and alcohol abuse and co-dependency. Debi terms her methodology as “strengths-based counseling.”

Debi was recently promoted to Medicaid Intake Coordinator for Riverside Rehab. Her skills will be put to use helping Medicaid clients better utilize effective mental health services.
